Our story began in a way that’s a little unexpected — through a dating app, which neither of us really imagined would lead to something so lasting. But from the moment we started talking, the connection felt easy and genuine.

Our first date was at Giovanni’s Pizza, where John (in a bold and very sweet move) ordered a heart-shaped Nutella pizza. We spent the night talking, laughing, and discovering a rare kind of comfort with one another — something that felt natural from the very beginning.

Since then, life together has been a mix of big adventures and simple joys. We’ve traveled, discovered new music, and tried foods we never thought we’d like — but just as meaningful have been the nights spent watching movies, getting ice cream, cooking together, sitting by the fire, and laughing until it hurts. We’ve also gotten to know — and love — the people closest to one another, and those relationships have become such a meaningful part of our journey.

We’re each other’s best friend, biggest supporter, and favorite person to share all of life’s little adventures with.
